• Free inspection and repair labour for salvageable Acer devices affected by the flood in Penang
• 15% discount on selected models for replacement of irreparable (Acer) devices affected by the flood
SUBANG JAYA, 10 November 2017 – Acer Malaysia is reaching out with a helping hand to the flood victims in Penang by providing free labour for inspection and repairs at their authorised service centre.
Customers can bring their affected Acer devices to the Highpoint Service Network (HSN) in Bayan Baru, Penang for inspection. Should the affected device be repairable, Acer Malaysia will undertake the repair at no labour cost and the customer just has to bear the cost of the replaced parts. If the affected device is found to be irreparable, the customer can take up a special offer of 15% off on selected models.
“This helping hand in response to the Penang flood crisis is part of our concern and care for our customers. Our thoughts are with them as they go through this challenging season and we would like to reach out to them with this small gesture to help relieve their burden during this trying time,” said Chan Weng Hong, General Manager of Products, Sales and Marketing, Acer Malaysia.
Affected customers up north have until 31 December 2017 to bring their Acer devices in for inspection and take up the 15% discount offer.
The Highpoint Service Network is located at 1-2-55, Elit Avenue, Jalan Mayang Pasir 3, Bandar Bayan Baru, 11950, Bayan Lepas, Penang, and is open Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 6pm (excluding public holidays).
