The early bird pre-order for the realme GT 8 Pro Series (The standard GT 8 Pro and GT 8 Pro Dream Edition) begins today until 28 November. Early bird customers are entitled to free gifts worth RM1,197, including a RM200 rebate, realme Watch 5, Detachable Camera Decoration Protective Cover Set (for standard GT 8 Pro only), PWP promotion for realme Buds Clip, and 1-year extended warranty. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-Powered
The realme GT 8 Pro draws power from a tri-chip architecture. The industry’s most powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is paired with Hyper Vision+ AI Chip and Signal Catcher Chip, offering performance-oriented users with power beyond definition. Scoring over 4 million score on AnTuTu, the processor is capable of running heavy-loaded mainstream games in their highest graphic setting – and even running two games at the same time.
Another major upgrade is on the photography capabilities. The realme GT 8 Pro taps on RICOH GR, a legendary Japanese camera brand favoured by street photography masters, to harness its classic photography system. The collaboration took four years to fruition. Now, the realme GT 8 Pro features a full-range of RICOH GR camera system, offering RICOH GR classic film tones (Positive, Negative, Hi-contrast B&W), immersive framing mode with focal lengths and Snap Focus mode. On the hardware side, it comes with GR optical-quality custom anti-glare lenses, and a 200MP Sony IMX main camera lens.
World’s First Switchable Camera Deco Design
In a sea where most smartphones’ camera deco is either round or square, the realme GT 8 Pro challenges beyond definition by offering switchable camera modules. Users can now change the camera islands according to their preference.
In addition, realme teams up with MakerWorld – a 3D model repository created by Bambu Lab for sharing and downloading 3D printable designs – to host a MakerWorld x realme GT 8 Pro Deco Design Contest, inviting users to unleash their creativity to design camera deco unique to them. GT 8 Pro users can also print out their favourite camera deco from MakerWorld and use it on their smartphone.
