OPPO Unveils New OPPO A3 with All-round Reliability, Lasting Durability, and Exceptional Gaming Experiences

13 September 2024, Kuala Lumpur – OPPO today announced the launch of its latest A series smartphones, the OPPO A3, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Designed for all-round, everyday endurance and durability, the new series features a damage-proof body with Military-Grade Shock Resistance and Multiple Liquid Resistance, plus a long-lasting 5,100mAh large battery and 45W SUPERVOOC_TM Flash Charge that together ensure the optimal user experience for both work and play for up to four years. With additional features like a 1,000 nits Ultra Bright Display, Ultra Volume Mode, the Snapdragon® 6s 4G Gen1 mobile platform, and ample memory and storage, the new OPPO A3 also elevate entertainment experiences across everything from extreme gaming to video streaming.

Practical and durable design for all-round reliability

Built to ensure the highest standard of day-to-day reliability, the OPPO A3 features reinforced bodies composed of a suite of advanced materials, including double tempered glass to protect the phone against everyday drops and impacts. In recognition of their excellent durability, the A3 have received MIL-STD 810H Certification for Military-Grade Shock Resistance, as well as SGS Standard Certification, making them among the toughest smartphones in the budget-friendly segment.

Further to this, the smartphone is IP54 rated for water and dust resistance, guaranteeing protection from common spills such as coffee, milk tea, soup, and porridge. The new OPPO A3 comes equipped with a large 5,100mAh battery that offers extended battery life for everyday work and play. What’s more, the battery is built to run at over 80% of its original capacity after as many as 1,600 charge cycles[2], ensuring over four years of optimal battery condition for the average use[3].

The availability of 45W SUPERVOOC_TM Flash Charge brings improved charging efficiency, with the ability to recharge the battery to 50% in 30 minutes and 100% in 75 minutes[4]. Through Smart Charging, the battery is also automatically charged according to each user’s specific charging habits, providing a smarter and safer charging experience that prolongs the battery lifespan.
