Kuala Lumpur, 23rd January 2024 – Global technology company OPPO announced a new strategic partnership with Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading superapp, to bring all-new smart ride-hailing experiences to OPPO smartphones through the latest ColorOS 14. Through the partnership, both parties will also work on bringing even more innovative, user-friendly experiences to OPPO smartphones in the near future. Notably, the newly launched OPPO Reno11 Series comes with the operating system.
Drawing on the pioneering Aqua Dynamics in ColorOS 14, the new Grab services offer enhanced user interaction by seamlessly delivering multiple service touchpoints and real-time updates that make the ride-hailing experience smarter and more intuitive than ever before. Without opening the Grab application, key information about a Grab ride, such as vehicle details, estimated pick-up time, estimated arrival time, and estimated journey time, can all be displayed in Aqua Dynamics, providing convenient access to information without interrupting the user’s current task.
In addition to the newly announced service, OPPO and Grab are also jointly developing a smart service card for ColorOS’s Shelf that will deliver tailored recommendations for both ride hailing and food delivery.

On January 13, OPPO and Grab hosted a celebrity challenge in Kuala Lumpur, inviting the celebrity Amelia Henderson to take grab ride to ship the Reno11 series to 5 lucky consumers. During the rides, she has also experienced the convenience of Aqua Dynamics to track the rides.
