Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 13 January 2025 – Bigo Live, the leading global livestreaming platform, organised its biggest local awards night in Kuala Lumpur to celebrate and honour the best and brightest creators from Malaysia and across the region. A total of 200 creators, agencies and users attended the awards night where rising and current stars were recognised across multiple categories such as Top Host, Top Agency, Excellence Award and Victory Award. The awards event was livestreamed on the Bigo Live app and garnered around 15,000 viewers.
The winners from the awards night will participate in the annual flagship event ‘Global BIGO Awards Gala’ held in Singapore, where they will represent their country on the global stage. The Global BIGO Awards Gala 2025 is an annual awards ceremony that recognises the platform’s top creators from around the world including North and South America, Europe, Pan Asia, Middle East and North Africa.

Bigo Malaysia Awards Gala 2025 featured performances by local and international creators kexinsee (Malaysia), Jeanne1125 (Malaysia), NadRoz94 (Malaysia), monetan (Japan), maruko_0v0 (Japan) and CanCanaWorld (Japan). The Gala featured two main award segments; an awards ceremony for the Top Host, Top Agency, Top Family and Top User award, and Year-End Bonanza award ceremony which included two special awards this year, an Excellence Award and Victory Award given out to the top contributing users.
