KUALA LUMPUR, 5 DECEMBER 2024 – Lazada Malaysia is bringing back Malaysia’s nostalgic rock-scissors-paper game “1-2-Jus” with a unique twist this December for its 12.12 All Out Sale, which runs from 11 December, 8PM until 14 December 2024. From 4 December, 8PM until 9 December, 8PM, Malaysians all around the country can take part in Lazada’s 12.12 1-2-Jus Showdown, where they can unite and compete in a state versus state “1-2-Jus” challenge against the game’s Queen, earning points for their respective states to win a share of RM120,000 in Lazada vouchers.
To join the 1-2-Jus Showdown, shoppers just need to Google search “Lazada 1212 Showdown” to find the hidden Lazada site where they can register their details for the game. After registration, participants can then choose a move – be it rock, paper, or scissors – to compete against the Queen, earning 10 points for their state. If participants beat the Queen’s move, they will also contribute an additional 20 points to their state as well. Additionally, shoppers can also receive a Lazada voucher when they participate, which they can use during the 12.12 All Out Sale, while stocks last.
The Queen’s move will be announced daily at 8PM on Lazada’s Instagram, digital out-of-home screens in selected cities, as well as on the game site throughout its running period. Participants can also follow the hashtag #Lazada1212Showdown for updates on the game. To keep the competitive spirit alive, the site also features a live leaderboard for participants to track their state’s progress. The winning state will be announced on 10 December and all participants that contributed to the winning state will be rewarded with a share of RM120,000 in Lazada vouchers.
